Naruto and Naruto Shippuden

Naruto and Naruto Shippuden are two of the most popular anime shows of all time. They are two parts of the same saga.

What makes these two anime shows is the common storyline that runs through them. It has one of the most wonderful storylines among all the anime shows currently being telecasted. It is up there with the Dragon Ball Z series as well as the popular contemporaries like Bleach and One Piece.

  

The two series tell the story of Naruto Uzumaki who is a young boy with Nine-Tailed Demon Fox sealed within his body. 12 years before the start of the series, the ninja village Konohagakure is attacked by the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox. The Demon Fox slaughters a lot of people. In response to this gruesome act the village’s leader of the ninja military, known as the Fourth Hokage did something unimaginable.

They sacrificed the life of a newborn baby boy, Naruto so that they can seal the demon inside his body. The village people however hated Naruto as if he himself was the demon fox. They always mistreated him since his childhood. Also the Third Hokage, who succeeded the Fourth Hokage asked everyone to never mention the demon fox’s attack to anyone.

After years passed by, Naruto tricked by the renegade ninja Mizuki went on to steal a forbidden scroll, however he was stopped by his teacher, Iruka Umino. When Iruka almost died while trying to protect Naruto from Mizuki, Naruto fought and defeated Mizuki with the help of the scroll’s power. This power also allowed him to create clone of its shadow by using the Jutsu Shadow Clone Technique. After this encounter he realized that he was the demon Fox’s container.

This story is the typical hero’s journey which always finds support with the fans.
